Insights from CUHK’s Corporate Innovation Index 3.0 Launch: Fresh Perspectives on Business Growth

Thrilled to have joined the opening seminar for the Corporate Innovation Index 3.0 (CII 3.0) today, organized by The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Hats off to CUHK for marking yet another achievement in bridging academia and industry through this initiative, which benchmarks corporate creativity and drives practical advancements.

A real highlight was crossing paths with Daniel, a CUHK alumnus who took genuine interest in SilverGuard AI’s operations. His rundown on some of Hong Kong’s premier elderly care facilities opened my eyes to untapped possibilities in aging tech. Even though our focus lies in preventive solutions, his introductions sparked ideas for potential synergies. Fingers crossed for chances to dive deeper with his guidance soon.

The session also featured a compelling talk by Professor Dominic from the business school. Having missed his lectures during my own studies outside that faculty, this marked my first exposure—and it didn’t disappoint. His delivery packed authenticity and sharp observations, resonating deeply with my own views on strategy. What stood out was his knack for engaging the crowd while breaking down complex concepts clearly; I walked away with actionable takeaways on fostering resilience in ventures.

Days like this recharge the drive, blending learning with connections that could shape future collaborations in Hong Kong’s dynamic ecosystem.
